Fulltone Mas Malo ...

2.650,-

Fulltone Mas Malo Distortion/Fuzz - NOS BC184C discrete transistors …one of Michael Fuller’s favorite Mexican restaurants in downtown Los Angeles. He likes the bold, spicy food, and he likes the name, which translates from Spanish to mean: ”More Bad.” It inspired this tiny, yet potent, and surprisingly versatile Distortion/Fuzz you now have before you. Each pedal is fitted with three matched New Old Stock BC184C transistors allowing this pedal to do everything from Jimmy Page type crunch tones, Gilmour style singing leads, all the way to howling, compressed, infinite sustain feedback, even at low volume levels. And with just the right amount of midrange to sit perfectly in the track, or in the live mix. On top of that, Mas Malo has a fairly high input impedance and extremely low output impedance along with true-bypass switching (with Millennium LED switching) to assure that it gets along with everything that comes before, and everything that goes after it. The Knobs are V for Volume, D for Distortion, C for Color, and H for Heat. Volume & Distortion are self-explanatory, and the Color knob is a unique tone control panning from rich warm sounds all the way to Trebly Fuzztones. The Heat knob regulates the Bias of the first transistor in the circuit, which can really set up a domino effect, and the reason that this pedal can cover as much range as it does. This pedal truly is MORE BAD. Main Features: • Distortion/Fuzz effects pedal • Huge tonal range from Jimmy Page type crunch tones to Gilmour style singing leads, all the way to howling, compressed, infinite sustain feedback, even at low volume levels • Containing 3 x hand-picked New old Stock BC184C discrete transistors • True Bypass Switching • 100% hand-built in the USA • Powered by 9-18 V DC PSU (centre -, 2.1 mm, 8 mA current draw)
Fulltone OCD-Ge Germanium ...

2.790,-

Fulltone OCD-Ge Must-have overdrive - now with Germanium diodes The OCD pedal is the only pedal that uses 2 x Mosfets configured as "hard clipping to Vref." The earliest OCDs used 2 x Mosfets plus 1 x Germanium diode, but very quickly these diodes became harder and harder to find, and they became expensive. Fulltone recently got their hands on a reasonably large stash of the right kind of Germanium diodes and decided to do a small run of the ultimate OCD: a Custom Shop offering with a few circuit tweaks, 2 x Mosfets plus 2 x Germanium diodes, and one hell of a beautiful paint job... Metallic Teal with a chrome undercoat! In terms of sound, the OCD-Ge has great definition, more tube-like feel, a bit wider dynamic range, more sustain, and a more focused single-note tone. And as with all Fulltone pedals, it is 100% Built in the USA. • Germanium diode version of the Obsessive Compulsive Drie • Audio (Log) taper volume pot • Internal selectable True Bypass or Enhanced Bypass • Fulltone 3PDT footswitch • Current draw: ±8 mA • Runs on any voltage between 9 and 18 Volts DC
Fulltone OCD2 Obsessive ...

2.190,-

Fulltone OCDv2 Latest version of the Obsessive Compulsive Drive The OCD has received many slight tweaks since its birth in 2004, often incorrectly identified as “version 2, Version 3, Version 4.” In reality there has always been only one version…Version 1, with very slight variations in a couple of values after that making them V1.0 through V1.8. All OCDs serial 205811 and higher are the new, less compressed versions some refer to as "v2.01" The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer. The new output buffer eliminates the pedal from being influenced by effects that came after it when it is turned on in True-Bypass mode, or always when in Enhanced Bypass mode. Translation, your sound remains consistent regardless of placement in today’s more complex signal-chains, loopers, and pedalboards. This buffer also had a positive effect on the sound, it reduced loading on the pedal’s hard-clipping stage, allowing more sustain of both the sound and the overtones. Also new for V2 is the  Class A configured discrete 2N5457 JFET input section, raising the input impedance to 1 mega ohms and increasing the dynamics…resulting in significantly better interaction with both single coil and humbuckers. On top of that V2 gives you an internal switch to choose between ”Enhanced Bypass” & True-Bypass, and with no popping sound in either mode. While True-Bypass (TB) switching was the ultimate way to achieve a clean signal path for many years, everything’s different now. Most guitarists have elaborate pedalboards with 10 or more pedals being the norm, and tremendous potential for signal and tone loss with the many cables, connectors, and other pedals involved in the chain. There can be so much signal loss that it sounds nothing like the sound of a guitar with a cable straight into the front of a great tube amp. Uninspiring. The pedal industries’ solution to this problem for the last 40 years was unity-gain buffered bypass…i.e. a couple of Field effect Transistors (FETs) configured as unity-gain buffers This reduces the loading effect that occurs using long lengths of cable, and you remove the loud “popping” sound when switching the device on and off. This not only can sound ‘tinny’ , but also kills dynamic pick response, i.e. it kills the difference between picking soft and picking hard…Yes, when the pedal is in bypass! The solution is Enhanced Bypass! By configuring both of the switching FET’s Class-A all the dynamics return. People rave about old EP-3 Echoplexes and EP-3 type boosters, and although they know that they love what it does to the guitar’s sound, they can’t explain why. It’s because of the Class-A FET preamp! With a Class A FET the dynamics get amplified, allowing an even greater range of expression than if you were playing through a guitar and just one cable straight into your amp. The downside with EP-3 preamps is that they throw the signal OUT-of-phase, boost treble, and cut bass. Fulltone’s EB the signal exits the pedal IN-phase and doesn’t change the EQ at all. With OCD V2’s Enhanced Bypass you get this benefit whether the pedal is turned ON or OFF. This means that just having the OCD turned off in your signal chain makes the whole rig sound alive, fresh, and more powerful again. • Version 2 of Fulltone’s famous Obsessive Compulsive Drive pedal • tube-like distortion through combination of overdriving a JFET opamp and hard-clipping the signal with a pair of MOSFETs • more Dynamic-Range…meaning the difference between picking soft or picking hard will actually yield a more natural and wider range of distortion (with less compression) • Passive Hi-Cut Treble control • High Peak/Low Peak switch for tailoring the drive’s distortion tone • Class-A wired JFET input – isolates the pedal from the influence of anything that comes before it in the signal chain • Internally switchable True or Enhanced Bypass • 100% hand-built in the USA • Powered by 9 V DC PSU (centre -, 2.1 mm, ~8 mA current draw)
Fulltone Octafuzz OF-2 ...

2.690,-

Fulltone Octafuzz OF-2 Octafuzz... the only exact circuit copy of the legendary Tycobrahe Octavia. Cool Octave-Up sounds a la Hendrix "Band of Gypsies" and SRV's many live shows! Housed in a 16ga. steel enclosure with a beautiful ranar-blue gloss powdercoat finish and antique-white logo, this pedal is the reincarnation of the Tycobrahe. Scott Henderson 8/2022: "I’ve never done an album yet without your Octafuzz. I’d be lost without it!"* Gary Clarke Jr uses the Octafuzz (on "Fuzz" setting) for his epic Live and recorded Fuzz tones...no other pedal can do that imploding sound. "Edgy, tweaked, and haunted by strange overtones, it's distortion occupies a galaxy far, far away from modern crunchola fuzz." -- Guitar Player Mag Almost synth-like with its ring-modulation and "steel-drum" vibe... you will turn heads. Around 2000 I developed a mod to the Octafuzz that made it into a massive non-Octavia Fuzztone with a flip of a switch. My mod was soon adopted by all other companies who make Tycobrahe reissues and clones. • Octave Fuzz pedal • Exact clone of the Tycobrahe Octavia • Octa / Fuzz switch for cutting out theOctave circuit–for the nastiest most distorted Fuzz • 100% hand-built in the USA • Powered by 9 V DC PSU(centre +, 2.1 mm)
Fulltone PlimSoul mkII ...

3.190,-

Fulltone PlimSoul mkII Soft And Hard Clipping Overdrive Clipping = Distortion, and for many years players have only been offered two clipping choices: Soft-Clipped or Hard-Clipped. Soft-Clipped pedals such as Tube Screamers, Fulldrive2, OD-1, etc, get their distortion by using diodes placed in the feedback loop of their Op-amps. This type of clipping produces a cleaner, more compressed, low-to-medium gained Overdrive sound. The other choice are Hard-Clipped pedals like the RAT, Distortion+, Boss DS-1, etc. These pedals create distortion using diodes tied to ground or, unique to the Fulltone OCDv2, Mosfets that are tied to the half-way point between 9 volts and ground, offering a more natural sounding distortion, which resembles the sag or feel of an amp’s tube rectifier. The original PlimSoul is the only pedal to offer both Soft & Hard clipping with separate control over each. I designed the PlimSoul’s unique, independent dual-stage clipping circuit to replicate not only the sound, but the feel of a tube amp with its subtleties and complexities, resulting in my being granted U.S.Patent # 8471136. The Fulltone PlimSoul mkII is Hand-Built in the U.S.A. using top-notch, full size components, many of which are designed by and exclusively for Fulltone.   Main Features: Dual Stage Overdrive pedal with independent Soft- and Hard-Clipping Stages Hard Clipping circuit using two Germanium diodes for symmetrical hard clipping with aggressive, punchy gain Soft Clipping circuit for extremely asymmetrical soft clipping with low-to-medium gain Infinite overdrive combinations Increased input impedance increased of 1.1 Megaohms - for even better interaction with guitar’s Volume knob Passive Hi-Cut Treble control 3-position Bass switch True Bypass via Fulltone’s 3PDT footswitch 100% hand-built in the USA Powered by 9-18 V DC PSU (centre -, 2.1 mm)
Fulltone Queen Bee Germanium ...

3.490,-

Fulltone Queen Bee Sparkle Gold 3 x Germanium Fuzz The Fulltone Custom Shop Queen Bee is powered by 3 NOS Military “Flying Saucer” germanium transistors in an original design that behaves in an amp-like manner, responding dynamically to the input from your hands and guitar. Great clean-up by lowering the guitar’s volume knob, sweet mids, clarity, sustain, harmonics... It’s all there! Its first 2 transistors are configured to achieve maximum gain in order to hit transistor #3 extremely hard, creating more sustain and distortion than is possible with 2-transistor Fuzzes while making the pedal rather low-noise for such a high-gained design. The Queen Bee also has a lot of midrange! Fender amp owners will appreciate the Passive Hi-Cut Treble control for taming the treble, and further sonic sculpting via the Bass switch (placed before transistor #3) tailoring the low frequencies and keeping the bottom-end tight. This pedal has a wildly asymmetrical waveform high in second-order Harmonics, culminating in a sweet, rich, commanding voice with tons of sustain. Inside the pedal is a trimmer for adjusting the bias of transistor #3 by a range between 2 and 6 volts DC. A slight turn results in a drastic change in sound, in volume, and in compression characteristics. Suddenly firm becomes soft, bright becomes warm, grainy becomes smooth. The Queen Bee has True-Bypass switching via the Fulltone 3PDT footswitch for maximum signal integrity while the pedal is bypassed. Because the Bee utilizes Germanium transistors it should only be powered with a battery or a “Center Positive,” well-regulated power supply. Fulltone Queen Bees are 100% Hand-Built in the USA. • Fuzz pedal • 3 Germanium transistors • Lots of sustain, distortion and midrange • Passive Hi-Cut Treble control • 3-position Bass switch • Internal Bias trimmer for transistor #3 • True Bypass via Fulltone's 3PDT footswitch • 100% hand-built in the USA • Powered by 9 V DC PSU (centre +, 2.1 mm, ~5 mA current draw)
Fulltone Robin Trower ...

2.750,-

Fulltone Robin Trower Overdrive The Fulltone/Robin Trower connection goes back much further than the 15 years that Fulltone has been Robin’s exclusive choice for OD, fuzz, wah-wah, and ‘vibe pedals. Robin Trower is known for TONE. While working with Robin during his 2008 tour, I developed an overdrive truly worthy of the Trower namesake. Touch responsive, huge sounding, sustain for days... and crystal clear when the guitar's volume knob is reduced for great live dynamics. Being that Robin uses Fenders as well as Marshalls, it had to work well with both types... and it does. And Robin hits so hard that the front end of the pedal had to be tuned for those .012-.048 tuned-down strings. The RTO holds tight and smooth for Strat and Les Paul players alike. Robin's quite happy with the way it turned out, and I think you will be too. Robin’s own words: “The RTO is the smoothest, most natural sounding Overdrive I have ever used… but the fact that it enhances my guitar’s character tone is what made me LOVE it!” Main Features: • Robin Trover Signature Overdrive effects pedal • JFET Op Amp feedback loop design without input buffer for natural sounding, slightly asymmetrical waveform • True Bypass Switching • 100% hand-built in the USA • Powered by 9-18 V DC PSU (centre -, 2.1 mm)
Fulltone Soul-Bender Fuzz ...

2.650,-

Fulltone Soul-Bender In the early 1970’s, Sola-Sound England produced a very fat, warm, and juicy sounding Distortion/Fuzz called the Tone-Bender MkIII. These were also sold under the Colorsound, and Park brand names with slight variations in circuit and sound....my favorite being the Sola-Sound. “3 knob Tone-Benders,” as they became to be known, were very different from the more popular Fuzzface pedals in that they had more sustain and a lot of sweet midrange on-tap, which could give a thin Tele or Strat a very sax-like solo tone, especially with the “Tone” control turned full clockwise. The ‘Bender tone control cuts treble and increases Bass & Mids as you turn it clockwise, panning between a large and small capacitor, which is the way different from most other pedal’s Tone controls which simply cut treble at the knob is turned counter-clockwise. The magic of these “3 knobbers” is that they contain 3 germanium transistors...all of differing gains, and the secret is you have to know the proper gain each transistor needs to be in order to produce the best sound. I know, not because of some schematic on the web (all wrong BTW) or “build your own” kit, but because I have owned and repaired 40 or more original “3 knobbers,” and have almost 20 years experience with this circuit, knowing what makes them sound great and sustain long. The original Fulltone Soul-Bender® came out in 1995, it was inspired by this classic 3-knob design, and was produced up until around 2006 when Fulltone could no longer parse suitable transistors. Recently Fulltone re-established a relationship with one of the last remaining germanium transistor making companies, which has allowed them to re-issue this fuzz-classic as the Soul-Bender® SB-2. The SB-2 is in some ways better than the old Soul-Bender® in that I am now having the transistors made-to-order just how I want them, and these wonderful skinny-tall TO-1 Germanium transistor (with a top hat brim) that have just the right characteristics, including the requisite low gain and low noise just like the vintage Sola-Sound pedals had. The Soul-Bender® improves on the original 60's design by offering more available volume, a more usable Tone control range, True-Bypass switching with my proprietary "silent switching circuit,” better power supply filtering for less noise, and polarity protection to keep the sensitive Germanium transistors from damage....you cannot fry this pedal if you accidentally use the wrong power supply! Your SB-2 is roughly half the size of the original Soul-Bender® (or Sola-Sound) and I left the IN & OUT jacks on the rear of the pedal like the original Soul-Bender® so it will fit on even the most cramped pedalboard. • Germanium Fuzz pedal • Replica of the 3-knob Sola-Sound Tone Bender • Vintage specs and vintage sound • 100% hand-built in the USA • Powered by 9 V DC PSU (centre +, 2.1 mm)

Jackson Audio Asabi ...

4.590,-

Mateus Asato Signature Overdrive/Distortion Pedal with MIDI ASABI - Mateus Asato Signature Modular Distortion/Overdrive Developed with Mateus Asato, one of the predominant guitar voices of today, the ASABI Modular Distortion/Overdrive pedal had a two-year development process. Every detail was painstakingly refined to ensure that both the Distortion and Overdrive channels would work together, to perfectly recreate the soulful overdrive and the liquid high-gain tones that legendary guitarist Mateus Asato is known for. Incorporating the Jackson Audio signature modern-day control features such as Clipping Styles, a 3-band Active EQ for maxing out the pedal’s tonal flexibility, their innovative GAIN CYCLE circuit and full MIDI control and the result is undoubtedly one of the most versatile platforms for drive tones ever created. In addition, Jackson Audio has developed the technology to create replaceable distortion modules for ASABI - analog circuit boards that can be easily swapped out to fundamentally change the tonal direction of the pedal. While a range of modules will be available, the pre-installed MODERN HIGH GAIN module gives you a plethora of tones, ranging from classic rock to crushing heavy metal! • Analog Distortion and Overdrive pedal • Unique modular and replaceable Distortion board concept • Installed MODERN HIGH GAIN Distortion module  - based on the JCM800 high-gain sound • Overdrive circuit based on the smooth Plexi-style tone • Active 3-band Parametric-EQ - for optimal tone shaping • MIDI control • 4 Clipping-Diode Styles for both Distortion and Overdrive circuits, with drastically different sound characteristics • Output level matching circuitry - counteracts output level differences of various Clipping-Diode options • GAIN CYCLE circuit - for instant gain adjustment in 4 steps • Small footprint and top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting • Powered by 9 V DC PSU          (centre -, 2.1mm, ~ 160 mA current draw) The name ASABI, which means, "of unusual birth" was chosen by Mateus because it speaks to the unique nature of this pedal, as well as his own family heritage. Designed to make the pedal a complete 'Marshall-in-a-box', ASABI’s factory installed MODERN HIGH GAIN module features a super high-gain Distortion circuit. This perfectly recreates the detail and harmonic complexity of a legendary JCM800 amplifier. With this module, the resulting tone is very open, crisp and addictively fun to play and covers everything from 80's hard rock to more modern high gain tones at any volume. Adding to the functionality, the Distortion circuit also has a 3-Band Active EQ that is based on the legendary Baxandall EQ. This gives tremendous tonal flexibility, tailored specifically for guitarists and to top it off, via internal trim pots, you can change the frequency and Q of each band making this Fully-Parametric. Other optional Distortion modules available will include the LARGE MOUSE - a fully analog distortion module with the legendary sound of the ProCo Rat distortion - with many more to come and being released all the time, this modular concept will turn ASABI into your drive Chameleon! ASABI’s separate Overdrive channel features a soft clipping circuit that was designed to capture the smooth overdrive and touch responsiveness of a vintage Marshall Plexi. This circuit, which is in its own true bypass loop, can be used independently of the Distortion and is very useful for boosting the front end of that circuit for even higher gain. But that isn’t all. With 4 different Styles of clipping modes, each can drastically alter the tone and feel of the way the Distortion or Overdrive clips. With ‘Vintage Marshall’, ‘Classic Screamer’, ‘Asymmetric’ or ‘Symmetrical’ clipping, ASABI can really be the foundation of any distortion tone you wish to achieve to suit your tone goals. Amongst the most exciting features of the ASABI is the Gain Cycle, which takes the Gain knob setting, and divides it into 4 equal parts, making them instantly accessible as steps to cycle through by simply pressing both footswitches simultaneously. As with all of Jackson’s multi-option drive pedals, a unique circuit matches the output level of the pedal in its various clipping diode styles. So, no matter which of the four clipping options you choose, on either Distortion or Overdrive sides, your volume level will remain constant. This helps to you to alter how the pedal interacts with your amp or any other pedal(s) you may have in your rig and all on the fly. Add in MIDI control over Clipping Styles, Gain-Cycle options, Drive EQ options as well as ON/OFF of the Overdrive and Drive circuits and the ASABI is definitely the most powerful and comprehensive analog drive pedal ever made.
Jackson Audio Belle Starr ...

To get his signature overdriven sound, Drew runs super small, low-wattage tube amps wide-open and the BELLE STARR was designed to recreate exactly these tones. • Low/Mid Gain Overdrive pedal • Smooth and natural breakup style of non-negative feedback amps • Unique clipping circuit featuring MOSFET transistors instead of silicon diodes • Tiny footprint and top mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting • Powered by 9-18 V DC PSU        (centre -, 2.1mm, ~ 20 mA current draw) Purposely not a high-gain overdrive, the BELLE STARR features a low/mid gain circuit that has the smooth and natural breakup characteristics of smaller, non-negative feedback amps. To make the overdrive as natural-sounding and amp-like as possible, Jackson Audio incorporated a unique clipping circuit that features MOSFET transistors instead of traditional silicon diodes. 8 months of dialling in the BELLE STARR with every variation of amp from Fender to Marshall, Vox and of course Jackson amps has ensured that the BELLE STARR will work on any amp that you couple it up to. The BELLE STARR features 9-18V operation, true bypass switching and a small footprint with top mounted jacks, all making it easy to fit perfectly into any rig!
Jackson Audio Broken Arrow ...

3.690,-

BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI MIDI-controllable Overdrive & Boost With innovative features never before seen in ANY other overdrive pedal made, the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI is a comprehensive overdrive platform that is designed to give guitarists an incredible range of overdriven tones. Featuring a very flexible soft clipping overdrive circuit with 4 distinct Styles of clipping options, an innovative gain adjustment feature called GAIN CYCLE, a 3-band active EQ for maximum tonal flexibility and the MOSFET boost circuit found in Jackson Audio’s top-selling PRISM pedal, the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI is topped off with MIDI control over all its plentiful parameters. • Overdrive & Boost pedal, with Soft-clipping overdrive circuit • Active 3-band EQ - for optimal tone shaping • MIDI control over all parameters, ON/OFF and Boost • 4 Clipping-Diode Styles with drastically different sound characteristics • 4 differently EQ’d Boost Styles • GAIN CYCLE circuit - for instant gain adjustment in 4 steps • Small footprint and top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting • Powered by 9 V DC PSU        (centre -, 2.1mm, ~ 100 mA current draw) For the overdrive circuit, the pedal is based on a soft clipping overdrive designed in the same vein as the venerable TS-808, but without a set “mid-hump”. Instead you can use the active 3-band EQ to tone-shape the overdrive sound exactly as desired. There are also 4 selectable and distinct clipping modes: 1. Green: Classic Screamer 2. Magenta: Asymmetric Clipping - great for aggressive rhythm parts 3. Blue: Symmetrical Clipping - for a more focused and direct tone 4. Amber: Vintage Marshall - higher headroom for more open and a less compressed tone One of the most exciting features of the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI is the GAIN CYCLE, which takes the GAIN knob setting and divides that level of gain into 4 equal instantly accessible steps to cycle through. A unique circuit level matches the output of the pedal as various clipping diodes are selected, so now you can select between all four clipping options and your volume level will remain constant. The boost circuit is MOSFET based, much like the AMP MODE found in Jackson Audio’s best-selling PRISM Preamp pedal. This has its own true bypass loop, which means it can be used independently of the DRIVE circuit. One of the things that makes the boost in the pedal unique from other boosts on the market are the 4 styles available. Each style is EQ’d slightly differently, which allows it to alter how it interacts with the overdrive circuit in the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI or any other pedal you may have in your rig To top it off, the DRIVE circuit has a 3-band active EQ that gives tremendous tonal flexibility. Based on the legendary Baxandall EQ that is featured in countless studio devices, the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI takes this circuit and tailors it for guitarists. Jackson Audio spent a huge amount of time on this EQ dialling it in, so it would hit all the frequencies that guitarists need to adjust and then sweetened it by removing the ear-fatiguing highs and lows that can appear at extreme settings. BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI – the ultimate drive flexibility for your pedalboard!
Jackson Audio FUZZ Modular ...

3.590,-

FUZZ Modular Fuzz Pedal with Octave Sporting that spitting, snarling and surly sound of rock legends past and present, the FUZZ Modular Fuzz pedal from Jackson Audio takes faithful recreations of historic fuzz circuits and brings them together in one modular pedal. This allows you to create classic fuzz tone, as well as new fuzz sounds that would have been impossible with just the original circuits! The idea of creating a modular fuzz came about as we were trying to decide which style of fuzz would be the most musical fuzz of all time. The answer quickly became “All of them! They’re all different and bring something unique sonically”. With the FUZZ, you can update your fuzz sound completely with our swappable analog plug-in modules and turn your device into a whole new pedal with a simple and affordable plug-in swap out. In the 30 years since Brad Jackson began playing guitar, he’s always loved fuzz pedals. Having bought countless versions of fuzzes over the years, in his mind these pedals have always had a massive shortcoming - they desperately need more effective tone controls! That’s why Jackson Audio designed the FUZZ with a 3 band, fully parametric EQ. EQ and especially the mids are where the guitar makes its stand. Not enough mids and your guitar is lost in the mix. Too much highs and your tone is piercing and off-putting. Too much bass and you compete sonically with the bass drum and bass player. With the 3-band Parametric EQ on the FUZZ, you have 9 controls at your disposal to fully sculpt your tone and make sure the riffs you are laying down are NEVER lost in the mix! Main Features: •    Analog Octave Fuzz pedal •    Unique modular and replaceable Fuzz plug-in concept •    Installed MODERN FUZZ plug-in module - a modern take on all that is good from a spluttery vintage pedal •    Additional included FUZZ CLASSIC/VINTAGE plug-in module - based on the classic Fuzz Face circuit •    Separately switchable Octave circuit with Blend control •    Other plug-in modules available for a world of fuzz tones •    Active 3-band Parametric-EQ - for optimal tone shaping •    Small footprint and top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting •    Powered by 9 V DC PSU         (centre -, 2.1mm, ~ 50 mA current draw) A good fuzz and a good octave pedal go hand in hand. Jimi knew it, Stevie knew it and you know it. If you want to put some purple in your haze, you’re going to need an octave pedal and the octave circuit in the FUZZ is outstanding! Covering everything from perfectly pure octave up to screaming splatting sonic mayhem, the octave circuit in the FUZZ is the perfect marriage of vintage and modern thanks to its unique octave BLEND control. The BLEND control mixes your clean signal with the fuzz/octave signal so you can dial in precisely how much octave effect you want. Guys like Doyle Bramhall II use this to great effect by adding just a little octave to their sound which gives it a little “lift”. With the BLEND control fully counter-clockwise, the octave circuit acts as a boost and is perfect for slamming the front of the fuzz circuit for more gain! Pro Tip! Boost + Fuzz Face = Tone Bender! This boost is also perfect for boosting the front of other pedals or just running as an always-on signal buffer/booster. Fully clockwise, there is no clean blend so your signal is fully fuzzed out with however much fuzz/octave you have dialled in with the OCT control. The Fuzz is supplied with two analog plug-in boards, so right out of the box you have two completely different and versatile circuits to choose from. From vintage-style fuzz at lower settings, to snarling spitting fuzz at higher settings the MODERN FUZZ (installed) plug-in does it all and cleans up beautifully when your guitars volume control is lowered. FUZZ CLASSIC/VINTAGE is the additional plug-in the FUZZ ships with. This plug-in is the classic Fuzz with the ‘smiley face’ and has lower gain and a looser/softer feel which is perfect for the earlier Jimi-era tones. In addition, a growing range of other modules will be available. Dead simple to install, you simply unscrew the FUZZ’ backplate, remove the stock fuzz module and replace it with any of the analog fuzz plug-ins. Voila! Your new fuzz pedal with all its features is accessible and ready to go!
