It features complete control over delay time, repeats, mix and voice (with the tone control), as well as control over the reverb length and mix. It can run in one of 3 different modes: Normal, Reverse and Swell. In Normal mode, the Avalanche Run functions as a straightforward delay and reverb. In Reverse mode, the delay line is in reverse and the reverb remains in normal mode. In Swell mode, the Avalanche Run reacts to your picking dynamics and adds a volume swell to the entire signal path much like manually raising and lowering the volume of your guitar. The Avalanche Run features an expression jack that can be assigned to one of six different controls using the EXP selector switch. It also features Tap Tempo with six different ratios accessed via the Ratio selector switch. The Avalanche Run can also be run in True Bypass mode or Buffered Bypass mode for trails and features 5 different tail lengths including Infinite for lo-fi and continuously degrading pseudo-looping. The Tap switch also has a few other cool secondary functions. While in Normal and Swell mode, you can send the Avalanche Run into self-oscillation by holding down the Tap footswitch. In Reverse, mode holding down the Tap switch will flip the delay back into Normal mode and return to Reverse mode once released! Each and every Avalanche Run V2 is completely assembled, wired and tested by total human beans in the tiny tundra town of Akron, Ohio.

Like all analog octave effects, there are some basic rules to follow that will get you the most enjoyment from your Bit Commander V2. Use the neck pickup and play single notes. The best tracking occurs from the 7th fret up on all the strings. Below the 7th will still track but there will be occasional glitches and stutters. The lower the note, the harder it is for the Bit Commander V2 to register. The use of Bass and lower registers on keyboards will yield unexpected, sometimes pleasing, sometimes disgusting results. These are not mistakes or flaws, it is the nature of analog octaves. The Bit Commander V2 has a fully analog dry signal path and new electronic relay based true-bypass switching. Blumes® Low Signal Shredder Blumes® is an all-analog tri-mode soft clipping bass overdrive that carries the torch of the classic screamer circuit but has a voice all its own. While embodying most of the characteristics and features of our beloved Plumes® Small Signal Shredder, this modified circuit has double the gain and a deeper bass response to retain all the low end. It utilizes internal bipolar power, which gives you more dynamics and all the headroom you could ever desire. The end result is a three-dimensional tone with added clarity that really pushes a nice tube amp over the edge. Controls: Gain: This controls the amount of drive.  Tone: More bass to the left, more middles in the middle and more treble to the right. Level: This controls the output volume. Clipping Modes (3-Way Toggle):  Symmetrical LED clipping: more crunch and compression. No clipping: wide open OpAmp drive for clean boost. Asymmetrical silicon diode clipping: more transparency with a loose feel. While embodying most of the kick ass characteristics and features of the Plumes, we went ahead and modified this circuit with double the gain and a deeper bass response to retain all the low end. At lower gain settings, you’ll get all of the crunchy tone you love about the original, but once you get above noon on the Gain control, that’s where the similarities stop. Now you’re in bass country, baby! Get ready to shake some walls and field some angry calls from your neighbors (just send them to voicemail). And much like the Plumes, this pedal offers three different clipping options for your desired low end face melting needs. Mode 1 is symmetrical LED clipping that utilizes a pair of light emitting diodes. This is the crunchiest setting the Blumes has to offer. This signal is less compressed and way more open with tons of output for when you really want to go wild. Mode 2 is a clean pure OpAmp gain boost mode. This eliminates the soft clipping diodes altogether and leaves you with straight OpAmp drive. This will be the loudest output with the fullest frequency response, and can be used as a clean boost when the Gain control is set below 11 o’clock. Mode 3 is an asymmetrical silicon diode arrangement similar to the stock screamer but with more output and clean clarity, which provides more transparent tone. Using this mode gives a warmer low-end response and lower output. It’s fuzzier with half the output and is the most compressed. The Master Oscillator’s “Root” (the octave of which is selectable via a three-position rotary switch) adjusts the frequency range and tracking response of the input signal, which is then synthesized and harmonized by one of eight Master Oscillator programs, adjustable by an eight-way rotary switch. From there, the Frequency Modulator applies pitch-bend modulation to the Master Oscillator. In Glide mode, you’ll hear a smooth portamento as each note slides into the next. In Vibrato mode the pitch modulates up and down for a retro sci-fi laser effect. The Subharmonic assimilates the input signal into one of eight lower octave programs between one and three octaves below the original. For a more stable lower octave, set the Subharmonic’s Root switch to the Unison position, which divides the Square Wave input signal, and removes the Frequency Modulator from the Subharmonic signal path. To unleash the cracked machine lurking within the Data Corrupter mainframe, set the Subharmonic Root switch to Oscillator and try not to look away as the sonic malware you just installed mangles your input signal into the sum and difference of both the Master Oscillator and Subharmonic with the Frequency Modulator applied to the upper and lower octaves. EarthQuaker Devices Fuzz Master General™ Legacy Reissue Limited Edition Octave Fuzz Blaster The Fuzz Master General is our take on the vintage Ace Tone Fuzz Master FM-2 Professional fuzz machine, an octave fuzz that was very similar to the wildly popular Super Fuzz. We have taken the basic circuit and re-imagineered it to be more useful for the modern player. The Fuzz Master General features a more accurate Fuzz control that delivers a much broader spectrum of dirt tones ranging from nearly clean through full buzz saw assault. We added a Voice toggle to further enhance your dirt desires and wrangle a more variable tone out of the classic circuit. This toggle selects between germanium, silicon and no diode clipping. This has a huge impact on the characteristics of fuzz tone, upper octave clarity and output level. Germanium diodes offer more output and an open, looser fuzz tone while the silicon diodes compress the signal and yield a tighter fuzz tone. When the voice is set to no diode clipping (center position) you can attain a nearly clean upper octave that borders on ring modulation! While the original Fuzz Master had a foot switch to select between two different tone settings, the Fuzz Master General has a variable Tone control that allows you to dial in everything in between a wide-open treble assault and a super-scooped, bass-heavy vintage unit. With all these added features, the Fuzz Master General delivers a more versatile version of the original while still retaining the same swelling octave grind we all know and love.

EarthQuaker Devices - Gary Automatic Pulse Width Modulation Fuzz and Dynamic Natural Overdrive A collaboration between EarthQuaker Devices and Lee Kiernan from IDLES. Gary started as a simple request to create a compact version of the now discontinued Gray Channel®, which was a mainstay on Lee’s board and a big part of his main drive tone. This was all fine and good, and sounded quite sick, but Gary was demanding that we look deeper and explore his dark side a little more, Gary after dark, Saturday night Gary. So, we sat him down and began the trek of figuring out old Gare-Bear once and for all. The result is a dynamic and destructive pulse width modulated fuzz paired with a natural-sounding op-amp overdrive.
