Om du dessutom laster ned og bruker hele softwaren finnes det nesten ingen grenser for hvordan du kan kombinere effekter. Vi snakker overdrive, distortion, modulation, delay, reverb etc.   We always craved a clean head. A device that is "out of the box" is an amplifier without added effects. Uncomplicated, intuitive, and for each one of us to be able to unveil the layer of sophistication that better serves our projects and skills. The Exponent 500 is a new concept that once connected turns into a multi-effect, with fully programmable and presettable signal chains with all the components a professional bassist requires. Exponent 500 comes preloaded with five versatile factory presets. Using e500 with the Darkglass Suite isn’t necessary, but we recommend it! Darkglass Suite unlocks the full potential of Exponent 500 by providing an interface to interact and modify the signal chain running on each preset. Use the iOS or Android versions of the Darkglass Suite to create, edit, share, and apply presets. Please make sure your Darkglass Suite version is 4.3.0 or newer!

In our quest to design the perfect bass distortion, first, we had to master the control of harmonics and filtering, which are crucial to sculpting the character and texture of a distortion circuit at will. It was then when testing the first few gain and filter stages of what would later become the core of our overdrive technology that we realized that the harmonic excitation circuitry could yield amazing results on a clean signal at lower gain levels! The result was a clean preamplifier that enhances attack and presence while sculpting the mids for a very percussive and aggressive character.   We have picked up a few tricks over the past decade, which translates into several improvements over the original design: aside from comprehensive EQ for additional flexibility, noise performance and headroom are vastly improved in v2.0. The unique tone-shaping engine can be controlled with the Character knob, which at minimum leaves your signal completely flat, providing absolute control from subtle to extreme enhancement. Along with this, we have a 3-band active equalizer with our staple bass and treble knobs, but for the first time in Darkglass history, featuring a semi-parametric mid control! And although it is designed to be the perfect complement to our distortion circuits, its incredible flexibility and portability make it the perfect one-stop solution for gigging musicians in search of a precise, and harmonically rich clean preamplifier.

FET är inspirerad av Universal Audios klassiska 1176 och SYM är en digital klon av deras egna Super Symmetry kompressor som inte är i produktion längre eftersom en del komponenter inte går att få tag på.   We have made it our mission to combine our analog expertise and signature sound with cutting-edge, digital technologies, not to replace, but to enhance the sonic possibilities and intuitiveness of the next generation of Darkglass products. The Hyper Luminal Compressor embodies this like no other pedal in the industry: by digitally modeling the side-chain circuits in some of the most legendary compressors in history, we were able to capture their essence and characteristic behavior while keeping a completely analog signal path. The pedal ships with 3 selectable models (more to be added): BUS: Modeled after the Solid State Logic® Bus Compressor. FET: Inspired by the legendary 1176®. SYM: Our, now discontinued Super Symmetry, transcends in the digital realm. But that is not all! Instead of using mechanical switches (because let's face it, switches are boring), to select the compression Ratio and Mode we implemented touch-through-metal sensors. The sensors in the Hyper Luminal Compressor detect when and where the chassis is touched and changes parameters accordingly: this technology not only provides a very new, intimate and pleasant user experience, setting it apart from any other pedal in the market, but it does so while operating with extreme consistency and, unlike mechanical switches, it is virtually unbreakable. The pedal also features a gorgeous 10-LED gain reduction meter and four knobs: Blend: Mixes the clean and effected signals. Time: Sets the time constants (Attack and Release). Fine tuning and mapping can be done through the Darkglass Suite, so users can assign different constants to each model. Compression: Sets the amount of compression. Level: Sets the overall output volume of the unit. As for I/O the hyper Luminal Compressor features: Input: 1/4" connector for the instrument.
