Actually not the first system the Alpha defines the starting point of serious acoustic amplification at AER. Based on the success and the experience with the Compact 60 we have developed a even smaller lightweight model that has no difficulties living up to the rigors of the road. Reduced to the max, along with the AER typical quality standards - without renunciation of what is essential for superb performance - the Alpha is a full size member of the AER product family. Open sounding and quick in response this amp masters different ranges and is thus not afraid of bigger instruments. AER Alpha - single-channel ultra-compact acoustic amplifier with two inputs. 40watts, phantom power, 3-band EQ, colour switch, digital reverb, various outputs (line, headphones and DI) and effects loop.
Includes carry bag.

 AER has been the reference, the standard for amplifying acoustic instruments for many years. 

In order to achieve this, there were many obstacles to be overcome. 

Started in the 1990s as a three-man show in the heart of the Ruhr area, after many years of trial and error, development and research, AER amplifiers are worldwide well-known as the quality and sound standard. 

Udo Rösner, Michael Eisenmann and Susanne Janz had the dream of developing an acoustic amplifier that would be the sound and quality standard for musicians all over the world. 

New paths are created by walking them - 
and they weren't always straight - after some meandering around they found the right one. 

 

The company is now working under new management, but the original idea is still valid. 

Several dozen employees work on the continuous development of sound systems in a modern equipped company. 

What they all have in common is the passion for music and the careful
control of all work steps.
