Tsakalis Audioworks SIX ...

2.349,-

Tsakalis Audioworks Six Booster, Overdrive, Distortion For many years we have wanted to create a truly mind-blowing overdrive / distortion pedal that would be small and practical yet would offer huge powerful tones, natural feel and flexibility. And of course, to do that we needed reference. So we decided to combine all the good stuff found in the legendary Timmy, Blues Breaker and King Of Tone pedals, and try to come up with that extra something that would take things even further. The Six - Booster, Overdrive, Distortion is the culmination of a long period of modifying and prototyping and countless hours of testing and swapping ICs, capacitors and diodes. Not willing to stop experimenting until we had a pedal that would really speak to us in the studio and on stage, we decided to completely nerd out and try some unconventional methods. It was during this process that we discovered something really innovative… Looking for that magic ingredient, we decided to think out of the box and removed all the capacitors from the audio path (coupling capacitors), which resulted in a more natural feel than ever before and respect to the original tone of the guitar without any added compression or color that would be coming from the coupling capacitors. By applying what we call cap-less technology®, you can really hear the character of your instrument and consequently your own hands! Main Features: • Boost / Overdrive / Distortion Effects Pedal • 6 modes of Booster-Overdrive-Distortion selectable by a rotary switch o Booster (BS) - Clean boost that easily breaks up at higher settings o Overdrive 1 (OD1) - smooth overdrive with apparent mids o Overdrive 2 (OD2) - more compressed and “creamy” version of OD1 o Distortion 1 (DS1) - naturally responsive amp-like distortion. o Distortion 2 (DS2) - DS1 with added bite and sustain o Overdrive 1 into Distortion 2 (OD1 + DS2) - Chunky dirt tone with unique attitude • Featuring Cap-less Technology® - removing all coupling capacitors from the audio path – for more natural feel and emphasized character of your instrument • Integrated switchable voltage doubler - increases internal operating voltage 18V - for more headroom and amp-like response • True Bypass Switching • Handmade in Athens, Greece • Powered by 9V DC power adapter (2.1 mm, center -, 10 mA current draw) The Six Boost Overdrive Distortion is powered by a 9V supply (center-), and features an advanced internal power supply with a voltage doubler, letting you choose 9V or 18V be the dedicated toggle switch. Just like with tube amps, increasing the voltage means more headroom. At 18V, the pedal behaves more like an amplifier with tons of headroom and a slight difference in the Overdrive and Distortion modes, which tend to have more clarity. At 9V it sounds “dirtier” even at lower volume and in Booster mode it starts to break up more easily.
Tsakalis Audioworks Room #40 ...

Tsakalis Audioworks Room #40 Marshall Mojo in a Box Heavily inspired by the tone and feel of the following legendary Marshall amps: the non master volume series PLEXI Super Lead (1959/1987) & Super Bass (1992) and the master volume series JMP™ & JCM800™ (2203/2204). Over the years, we have had many different types of Marshall amps on our workbench, some for repairs and others for customization. Being huge fans of the sound of these classic amplifiers, that still continues to excite us through the music of so many artists, we decided to try and capture its mojo – the true essence of the soul of this sound – and carefully place it in a little box. Thus the Room #40 was born! Using JFET technology, we tried to stay loyal to the tone and feel of the following legendary Marshall amps: the non master volume series PLEXI Super Lead (1959/1987) & Super Bass (1992) and the master volume series JMP & JCM800 (2203/2204). Main Features: • Overdrive / Boost Effects Pedal • 2 types of Marshall style circuits o PLEXI (19) o JMP & JCM800 (22) • Variac voltage control from 7.5V to 21V – for re-creating the legendary “brown-sound” • Classic Marshall 3 band EQ • Versatile Presence control for matching pedal to darker or brighter amps • Gain Boost controlled by a foot-switch and a dedicated trimmer • True Bypass Switching • Handmade in Athens, Greece • Powered by 9V DC power adapter (2.1 mm, center -, 30 mA current draw) We emphasized on emulating the compression and sag coming from the power amp section, when these amps are pushed to the edge, while at the same time giving access to two famous mods, mod #39 (PLEXI) and mod #34 (JMP™ & JCM800). Of course the manifestation of our love for the late great Eddie Van Halen, who created the so called “brown sound” using an ohmite variac (variable transformer used to lower or raise the voltage going into the amplifier), could not be absent from this endeavor. Finally, we incorporated the Presence control to make the sound adjustable to any circumstance, regardless of whether you are plugged into the front of an amp that may or may not have a bright cap or even straight to a power amp.

While developing the MultiCab MK4 we made a conscious decision not to use IR technology. This way, and in conjunction with parallel analog audio path, we managed to create a unit that minimizes latency up to 1.2 ms, providing the most genuine and direct experience possible. It features 8 presets each pre-loaded with a different virtual guitar cabinet heavily inspired by some legendary and iconic guitar amps and cabinets. Each virtual cab in the MultiCab MK4 has been created by recording the actual real cabinet itself in the T.A.W. HQ, using a selection of different microphones. Through trial and error, we’ve managed to recreate each cab’s tone and feel as accurately as possible. The MultiCab4’s always active analog path is responsible for the pre-amp modes, power amp voicing, cabinet back type and microphone type voicing. The pedals parallel digital path is responsible for the virtual guitar cabinets and room ambience. Its pre-amp section was designed with 2 JFET stages for a tube like response and touch, featuring a versatile tone control and 2 modes (CLEAN & HOT). MultiCab4’s power section mimics the voicing and feel of a power amp in a push pull topology loaded with EL34 or 6L6 tubes, while the cabinet type section features 3 selections of cabinet back types (CLOSE, SEMI-OPEN & OPEN). Finally, the microphone section is responsible for the microphone type providing 3 types of microphone voicing (DYNAMIC, RIBBON & BOTH) With the AMBIENCE control you can adjust the level of natural room ambience. Imagine having a 3rd microphone, placed away from the cabinet, that captures the reflections from the room in which the cab is placed. Dial it past noon for a warm and small sized reverb effect. The T.A.W. Editor application is a simple and user-friendly application through which set up your Multicab 4 device. More specifically, you can determine which cabinet will be assigned to each one of the 8 available slots of your device. Just drag and drop the cab you want to load from the right side of the app to the desired preset number on the left side and you are ready! Many other features such as rename a cab, mark a cab as favorite, import new cabs, create bundles of 8 cabs to name few, are available and easy to be done.

The TUBE-TECH ME 1B is a passive, all-tube midrange EQ based on the legendary Pultech MEQ5, featuring two boost- and one dip section. The bandwidth of the ME1B sections is designed broader than in the MEQ5 for ultra-smooth and musical equalization, perfect for vocals, instruments, speech and all other midrange sources. Mid frequencies have always been very important, when EQ’ing instruments and vocals to make a mix come together. TUBE-TECH ME 1B can shape the midrange frequencies in that very pleasant way, only a passive equalizer is capable of. Even extreme midrange boosts still sound open and warm without the slightest trace of harshness. ME 1B is the perfect partner for the PE1C program eq and works very well as a bus EQ for many different uses. The famous Motown sound? The ME1B is an important tool tool for adding that nice midrange to your recordings. The TUBE-TECH ME 1B is a passive tube based midrange equalizer developed tomatch and surpass the demands of even the most discerning studio engineers. TUBE-TECH HLT 2A Equalizer ...

50.675,-

The TUBE-TECH HLT 2A is an all-new kind of Equalizer, combining High and Low shelving Eq plus Hi and Low cut filters with an innovative T filter “tilt” midrange Eq. It’s the first time this combination of filters has been designed in the analog domain. The midrange T-Filter “tilts” the entire spectrum around a selectable midrange frequency point. Frequencies above that point increase (or decrease) while frequencies below that point decrease (or increase). This unique topology, provides a powerful and uniquely efficient way to get beautiful-sounding overall equalization. As such, the Tube-Tech HLT-2A is destined to become a “go-to” equalizer in high-end mastering houses, smaller project studios, and everything in between. Like all Tube-Tech processors, the stereo HLT-2A possesses a warmth and character that breathes life into a track and gives it an organic body that somehow manages to occupy real physical space inside a stereo mix. However, the functionality of the HLT-2A is unique in the Tube-Tech line – and indeed in the world of analog processing. Users will find that the HLT-2A generates quick, intuitive results that can range from mild to extreme, and it sounds great on individual tracks or strapped across the drum bus or the mix bus. HLT 2A is a stereo unit, featuring active low and high shelving EQ and a passive T-filter plus passive Hi/Lo cut filters. The shelving EQ’s are designed around a high gain tube amplifier, and the T- filter and Hi/Lo filters are passive filters placed after the active shelving EQ and before the output amplifier. All sections are supplied with a bypass switch. The HLT2A furthermore features an overall bypass switch. The low and high cut filters are also passive with a slope of 6dB/octave. A bypass switches the whole filter section out of the amplifier circuit, keeping the output stage in the circuit. The T-filter is like a seesaw. When the low end goes up, the high end goes down and visa versa. When the potentiometer is turned clockwise, the high frequencies are boosted and the low frequencies are attenuated. When the potentiometer is turned counter clockwise, the low frequencies are boosted and the high frequencies are attenuated. The unit is all tube based except for the power supply, input and output have fully floating transformers and all DC voltages are stabilized, except the anode voltage for the output stage. Tube based push-pull amplifier Freq. resp. @ -3 dB: 5 Hz – 55 kHz Low noise: < -80 dBU @ 0 dB gain CMRR: > 60 dB @ 10 kHz All-tube active/passive EQ FILTERS: Low cut: 18, 25, 40, 60, 85 Hz, 6db/octave Low shelving: 18, 37, 80, 180, 370, 800 Hz.
