SolidGoldFX If 6 Was 9 MkII ...

2.562,-

If 6 Was 9 MKII BC183 Silicon Fuzz If there’s one pedal that captures the history of sonic rebellion and the soul of classic rock, then the Fuzz Face is it. Bold and raunchy when fed power chords, velvety smooth and angelically soaring when presented with lead lines and with an almost too-good-to-be-true volume knob cleanup, which allows for the best clean tones you’ve ever heard, the Fuzz Face is truly a multi-faceted tonal treasure. Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Pete Townsend all carved their undying legacy with this iconic fuzz machine and with our If 6 Was 9 MKII, you can instantly tap into those legendary tones or go far beyond to discover your own saturated signature sound. Main Features: • Silicon Fuzz pedal • Based on the Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face circuit • Uses two BC183 transistor – for soulful fuzz tones between mushy compression of Germanium and brash sound of Silicon • Variable voltage pump supplies power between 5 to 15VDC internally • Thick balanced bass response and tight fuzz tone • Tone toggle switch chooses between tight and thick fuzz voicings • Bias knob for varying the operational voltage – for a huge range of tones from compressed and nasty to big and bold Saturation control trims the circuits input for better cleanup or impedance matching • Soft-touch True bypass switching and top-mounted jacks • Hand-made in Montreal, Canada • Powered by opt. 9V DC PSU (centre -, 2,1 mm, 20 mA current draw) It’s been at least 10 years since we launched our original If 6 Was 9 BC183 and improving on this solid design was no small feat. SGFX’s pedal pays tribute to all the players who contributed to the pantheon of rock, with specially selected components to get your mojo working. We put two BC183 devices in each one, which is widely regarded as a happy medium between the potentially mushy compression of germanium and the brash sawmill-like fuzz of silicon. The tone of the If 6 Was 9 MKII is just that - smooth and refined, without falling apart on chords and with loads of sustain on single-note work. The MKII includes all the soulful fuzz tones of the original BC183, but incorporates a variety of new features aimed at bringing this vintage inspired design into the modern age. What really sets the new If 6 Was 9 MKII apart is the power supply. Fuzz Face tone has been whittled down to such a precise science that players now know what voltage at which they prefer their Fuzz Face to be run. Eric Johnson famously kept a box full of batteries drained to various degrees. We have equipped this fuzz with a variable voltage pump, supplying anywhere from 5 to 15VDC from a single 9V power source. No need for a box full of questionable batteries anymore, just set the knob to your preferred supply voltage and get as much fuzzy compression or meaty breakup you desire consistently, every time. This, in conjunction with the bias control, will allow for any shade of fuzz ranging from gated and sputtery, to smooth and dynamic, then all the way to bold and punchy. The new saturate control trims the circuit’s input for better cleanup, signal chain integration or impedance matching, ideal for use with a wah pedal. Finally, soft-touch true bypass switching and top jacks really bring this fuzz face into the 21st century. That was a lot of tech babble, we know. At the end of the day If 6 Was 9 MkII is just here to help you with what you do best: plugging in and rocking out!
SolidGoldFX Imperial MKII ...

2.226,-

Upon first glance at the Imperial MKII, you might be intrigued by its charmingly retro appearance. Inspired by the JEN Jumbo fuzz, which is one of our personal favorite vintage fuzzes, the Imperial MKII’s four sliders, textured black paint and bold red graphics shows you can immediately tell that this pedal means business. If a ripping, royally raucous fuzz, with impeccable manners, is what you seek in your tone conquest or whether you are chasing those soaring Gilmour-esque leads that propel you to the far side of the moon, then look no further than the Imperial MKII. So, what is the JEN Jumbo Fuzz and what makes it so awesome? JEN Elettronica was an Italian manufacturer who made pedals for Vox, Dallas Arbiter and Sound City (among others), in addition to making equipment under their own brand. The Jumbo Fuzz was their spin on the venerable EHX Big Muff® that swapped the knobs out for sliders and added a nifty germanium noise gate. In terms of sound, the tuning of the Jumbo Fuzz lies somewhere in the Ram’s Head camp - not overly scooped or woofy, with a nice gain range - just a great sounding pedal! While the Jumbo’s noise gate is a great feature and gives this BMP variant a unique attack with practically zero noise, vintage units vary greatly from one unit to another, with some gating too much and others not at all. Capturing the Jumbo Fuzz’s vibe and redesigning the gate was essential to our Imperial redesign. Let’s dive in… True to the original SGFX Imperial, the MKII retains our high impedance JFET preamp, giving the low noise floor detail and definition you would expect from any SolidGoldFx pedal. Bass, guitar or synth, stick it anywhere in your effects chain and feel free to ride your volume knob for clean-up - the Imperial’s preamp will respond. While the tone stack is carried over from the original design, a new Contour slider replaces the mids switch, which changes the frequency of the high-pass filter in the tone stack. This allows you to boost or scoop your mids, with every shade in between.  About that noise gate, this is where the Imperial MKII really shines. We’ve swapped out the Jumbo Fuzz’s germanium transistor design with silicon devices and given it an improved envelope generator, to ensure consistency and response throughout. Having fine-tuned the attack and release, not only does the noise gate allow for virtually zero noise, but it also gives the pedal a unique, sharp attack with no loss of sustain at higher fuzz settings. Align this to a nice, dry attack at low settings, and Imperial MKII will pair great with other dirt boxes too. The noise gate will even allow you to add fuzz to a hollow-body, while controlling the howl and feedback should you choose. Finally, the Imperial MKII package is completed with dual LED indicators (one for bypass and the other indicating the gate status), top jacks, true bypass switching and, of course, our retro sliders and vintage inspired artwork.

Black Sheep G-Fuzz Mini Pedal

Black Sheep G-Fuzz Germanium Fuzz-pedal för old school rockmusik   Ever since Goree Carter released his 1949 single ”Rock Awhile”, distortion has been the most favored guitar effect in history. Before overdrive/distortion pedals, cranking a small tube amp to max, or even slicing the speaker cone with a razor blade, was common practice to achive the sought after distortion sound. Since the first Fuzz-pedals of the 1960’s, a world of great pedals has built the foundation of rock music as we know it today.   Black Sheep pedals are proud to offer boutique quality pedals at prices every guitar player can afford.   Black Sheep G-Fuzz is a Vintage Fuzz pedal that achieves classic fuzz tones of the late '60s/early '70s era. It's simple controls allow the G-Fuzz to do one thing and do it well, taking you from classic rock to contemporary fusion. Fuzz has been applied to guitar signals for decades to weave a unique musical texture - either by itself, or to aggravate the input of an already overdriven tube amp. This compact pedal's two pots - Volume and Fuzz – let’s you effortlessly dial up anything from relatively tame silken fuzz to snarly, sputtery, and full-on nasty fuzz tone. Its full metal casing makes it durable and road ready, and like most great effects pedals it has true bypass.   G-Fuzz gives you that classic late 60’s sound at an affordable price. Black Sheep Greenizer ...

699,-

Black Sheep Greenizer Overdrive Overdrive pedal inspirerad av den klassiska Tube Screamer   The Black Sheep Greenizer is a clone of the classic Tube Screamer, cloned from the end of the 1970's Tamura S. Design, followed by the TS808 by Ibanez, one of the most cloned pedals ever. The Greenizer hits the bulls-eye with this version of a vintage style tube screamer tone. It is a lot like the tube pusher but has a softer more vintage "round" sound and tone, not as hard and heavy as the tube pusher.   It has a Boost and normal gain stage toggle switch, the normal is your standard tube screamer all the way and the boost gives you a little more warmth and edge. Both modes sound fantastic, clean and clear. There has been plenty of TS808 and Tamura clones that have had an underlying static sound in the tone and though they sounded good, they did not sound as good as the Greenizer as it is clean and clear OD with warmth and Body.   The compact inner circuitry is designed with a 3PDT True Bypass switch ensuring an unaltered tone when the pedal is not engaged. A true bypass switch has the ability to perform a true bypass of the internal hardware circuit of the pedal, meaning the signal goes straight from the IN to the OUT and does not "suck" the tone out of your signal path. Greenizer has a full thick tone and clean clear hard driving edge when dialed up. It does not suck bass or body out of your guitar tone when engaged. Black Sheep effect pedals pack an incredibly big sound into a small and affordable package. Ibanez TS9DX Turbo Tube ...

1.875,-

TS9DX Turbo Tube Screamer.

Black Sheep Plexion ...

699,-

Black Sheep Plexion Distortion Distortions-pedal inspirerad av de klassiska brittiska förstärkarna från 60-talet   In the mid to late 60s, Plexi amps were incredibly popular thanks to its ability to enhance lead distortion and produce a big, crunchy sound. With the Plexion, Black Sheep offers an effects pedal which mirrors that vintage Plexi sound. So whether you're looking for a little overdrive, or want to generate a classic rock sound with plenty of potency, the Plexion modelling pedal can do all this and more. The best thing with the Black Sheep pedals is that you're getting a high quality, premium pedal that is loaded with character and tone but at a price that is very affordable.   Controls It's easy to use the controls on the Plexion pedal thanks to its convenient layout and each control has a unique way of shaping your sound to suit you. There are three knobs that control Gain, Tone and Volume, as well as a toggle switch to flick between Bright and Normal sounds, and a true bypass footswitch control to finish. The toggle switch has two options of either Bright or Normal. Using the Bright channel allows you to enter into classic rock to late 80s and early 90s rock territory depending on just how much gain you wish to apply. To go that extra step further into creating blistering lead tones, just turn the gain up to full and hear that roaring sustain that we all know and love when you're really testing an amp to the limit! The Normal channel is by no means average by any stretch of the imagination, just adjust the gain, tone and volume dials to get the desired output and you will be amazed by its rich, full-bodied output that sounds just as good clean as it does heavily distorted.   Pedalboard friendly Don't be fooled by the compact size of the Black Sheep Plexion pedal as it is more than tough enough to deal with some serious stage stomping when attached to any pedalboard so you can feel confident during any live performance. The Black Sheep Plexion Modeller Guitar Effects Pedal is an outstanding piece of kit that will absolutely boost your live sound and it comes at an affordable price.
