Jackson Audio Bloom V2 Black ...

4.290,-

BLOOM V2 MIDI-Controllable Optical Compressor Designed to give guitarists maximum dynamic tonal control, the BLOOM V2 is a comprehensive dynamic engine that features fully fledged MIDI control over all 6 compression settings. A three-fold device, the BLOOM V2 manipulates the dynamics of the instrument by way of precisely tuned optical compression, 3-band equalization, boost and sustain circuits which can be activated separately or in tandem with each other, allowing compression control in ways never before possible. • Compressor pedal • Optical LA-2A style limiting circuit • MIDI control over all 6 compression parameters, ON/OFF and Level • 6 instant access presets • Flat frequency response paired with 3-band EQ for optimal tone shaping • Small footprint and top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting • Powered by 9 V DC PSU        (centre -, 2.1mm, ~ 300 mA current draw) The BLOOM V2 features an optical limiting circuit that takes its inspiration from compressors designed during the golden age of vacuum tube circuits, known for their transparency and subtlety. While the pedal can provide a very aggressive response at more extreme compression settings, its real strength lies in its ability to add a gentle sweetening and roundness to the tone, as the optical circuit works to polish off any rough edges in the sound. Hidden inside the BLOOM V2 is a second auxiliary compressor circuit identical to the main compressor with two internal trimmers for Comp and Volume. It can be used in series ahead of the main compression circuit in making notes sustain, while still remaining clear and clean. The BLOOM V2 can work as a regular set and forget boost. However, by pressing and holding the footswitch down, the BLOOM circuit can slowly ramp up to the level set by the boost. This programmable ramp-up time, can be used to increase sustain on held notes or to perfectly match the dynamics in a song. The 3-band EQ circuit features a studio-grade EQ that gives tremendous tonal flexibility. Based on the legendary Baxandall EQ that is featured in countless studio devices, the BLOOM V2 takes this circuit and tailors it for guitarists. Jackson Audio spent a huge amount of time on this EQ dialling it in, so it would hit all the frequencies that guitarists need to adjust and then sweetened it by removing the ear-fatiguing highs and lows that can appear at extreme settings. Because of its natural touch response, the BLOOM V2 is ideal for players who typically don’t use compression but want the ‘mastered’ response that optical compression gives to a guitarists tone. Add in the MIDI control of the individual circuits Bypass features (Compressor, EQ, BLOOM) and the overall BLOOM level (via MIDI expression control) and the BLOOM V2 is no doubt one of the most versatile compressor pedals ever made.
Jackson Audio Blossom Optical ...

Optical Compressor Pedal BLOSSOM Optical Compressor Featuring exactly the same optical limiting compression circuit as Jackson Audio’s fully featured compression masterpiece the BLOOM, the BLOSSOM is a simple and easy to use optical compressor. Because of its natural and touch responsive bloom, the BLOSSOM is ideal for players who typically don’t use compression but want the ‘mastered’ response that optical compression gives to a guitarist’s tone. • Compressor pedal • Optical style limiting circuit from the Jackson Audio BLOOM • Simple and easy to use control set • Flat frequency response that keeps your tone untouched • Tiny footprint and top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting • Powered by 9 - 18 V DC PSU        (centre -, 2.1mm, ~ 20 mA current draw) Known for its transparency and subtlety, the BLOSSOM features an optical limiting circuit. Based on the BLOOM’s “country-style” green channel, it takes its inspiration from compressors designed during the golden age of vacuum tube circuits and is perfect for those players who want to squeeze, but also want to keep it simple. Although the pedal can provide a very aggressive response at more extreme compression settings, its real strength lies in its ability to add a gentle sweetening and roundness to the tone as the optical circuit works to polish off any rough edges in the sound. The frequency response of the compressor section is ruler flat and does not boost or cut any of your highs or lows. Just like a well-designed compressor circuit should, the BLOSSOM alters the dynamics of the guitar signal and not the tone - a good compressor should be felt and not heard!

Keeley Aria Compressor ...

Aria Compressor Drive The Ultimate Compressor and Overdrive Experience Compression and Overdrive are the foundation of my engineering. These two Keeley tones have inspired countless musicians, now they sit in one extremely versatile, sonic tool. The Aria Compressor Drive not only offers out most flexible overdrive to date, it has all the tone and blend features of the Compressor Plus. Players also have the ability to swap the order of the compressor and drive for two very useful drive experiences. Two-Mode Overdrive: Soft clipping and a transparent boost to midrange frequencies, perfect for defining your own voice. Compressors and Overdrive are a fundamental part of the guitar recording process. They are also essentials for live guitar performance. You have two ways you can combine the beautiful midrange of overdrive and the benefits of compression and sustain. Most people run compression before overdrive in order to reduce the potential for idle, static noise. There are times when you want added sustain and therefore might need the compressor after overdrives, because using compressors after overdrives offers players a very warm and rounded, smooth and even tone with tons of sustain. And then you may need to return to the conventional routing, because compression before drives gives you a consistent gain level. Problem solved! Each half of the flexibly routed Keeley Aria Compressor Drive provides tons of volume for boosting and pushing your amp, with each half offering essential tone shaping controls to perfectly sculpt the core of your guitar’s sound. Main Features: •    Compressor and Drive effect pedal •    Combining Keeley’s Compressor Plus a two-mode Overdrive •    2 Overdrive gain modes:      o    High - Soft Clipping Overdrive      o    Low - Transparent Midrange Boost •    Compressor Tone control based on analog delays and other vintage effects - gently adds back in highs lost in compression •    Compressor Blend Control - for keeping all the peaks and transients while adding sustain •    Order switch – for selecting order of Boost and Drive effects in the signal chain •    Pro Rig designed remote control thru 1/4″ jacks - for live use with pedal switcher systems •    Top-Mounted Jacks - for a compact pedalboard layout •    Made in Edmond, USA •    Powered by a regular 9V DC PSU (centre -, 2,1 mm, low ~55 mA current draw) The Aria Compressor Drive comes with TRS insert jacks to allow you to divide the pedal into two units. Insert effects between the two sides! Compressor into delay into overdrive, anyone? Maybe swap that for overdrive into delay into compression. For nearly two decades, from nearly every Nashville session-ace to the praise and worship player at church, from Steely Dan, Steve Vai, Johnny Hiland, Daniel Donato, Arianna Powell, to Nicholas Veinglou, the Keeley Compressor and Red Dirt have been a part of these performing, recording, and touring sounds. Now, these two epic tones are together in one stomp box that is easy to use and full of features.

Keeley Compressor Plus pedal

2.069,-

Keeley Electronics Compressor Plus Gorgeous Sustain - Perfect Boost The Keeley Compressor is the most popular boutique compressor in the world. With well over 80,000 compressors built in our shop we have an expert understanding of compression, limiting, and sustain.  Keeley know what it takes to make an instrument sound like it’s been professionally recorded. We know how to make your guitar jump from the mix. We know how to make it fun and easy to play. Keeley Compression is how.  The Keeley Compressor Plus is the first true advancement in our 2 and 4 knob compressor line. The new features are simple and straight forward. Now there is a simple Release Switch that is tuned for single coils or humbuckers. No more wondering if you have the attack or release set right.  Your humbuckers will have all the attack and punch that they should. Keeley's team designed a gorgeous sounding Tone Control which emphasizes the most sensitive harmonics that can be lost in compression. The Compressor Plus now sports a Blend Control that retains the peaks in your playing and, more importantly, the proper phasing of your guitar signal.  The Keeley Compressor Plus offers the same gorgeous push of frequencies and sweetening of tone that the old comps gave you, now with the flexibility to easily handle any instrument. Main Features: •    Compressor Sustainer effect pedal •    Legendary Keeley Compression with modern features •    Attack/Release Switch - designed to make it very easy to transition between single coil and humbucker guitars •    Tone control based on analog delays and other vintage effects - gently adds back in highs lost in compression •    Blend Control - for keeping all the peaks and transients while adding sustain •    Pedalboard-friendly size – for compact rigs •    Made in Edmond, USA •    Powered by a regular 9V DC PSU (centre -, 2,1 mm, low ~10 mA current draw) The Keeley Compressor Plus is a compressor with an expander/sustainer. Not only does it act as a regular compressor, limiting the peaks in your playing, it adds more and more gain as notes fade out. Now you have sustain. Nothing worse than a note or a bend that has died before its time. The Keeley Compressor Plus adds just the right amount of sustain and expressive bloom to your notes. The Release Switch on the Keeley Compressor Plus is designed to make it very easy to transition between single coil and humbucker guitars. Humbuckers have more average energy than single coils which can cause compressors to stay in “compression mode” for a lot longer. When this happens, any series of notes you play will sound dull. With the quick release of the new Compressor Plus, your humbuckers remain true sounding, and each note retains dynamic attack and definition. The Tone Control is Keeley’s own design taken from analog delays and other vintage effects. Those effects used an emphasis circuit to recover treble and highs after they went through the BBD or other analog delay lines. We took that circuit and made it into a full fledged tone control! We have found that it is the perfect way to gently add back in those highs lost in the compression process. The Blend Control is a way of getting the peaks to come through while having sustain at the same time. So if you want sustain more than peak-limiting, this style of Manhattan Compression is for you! Keep all the peaks and transients with the Blend and Tone Controls while adding sustain on the back end. Heaven! This compressor isn’t just for heavy funk or chicken pickin’ anymore. The new Compressor Plus is for players wanting a smooth, subtle wash from their guitar. Remove just the right amount of peaks for an ambient layer and then blend in the right amount of treble for a nice shimmer to your guitar. Use with your favorite fuzz to create a wall of tone like you’ve only heard on records. Looping has never been easier than with this compressor. Consider it an essential tool when creating loops that sound well-balanced. Forget it all and use the Compressor Plus for the best amp boost you’ve heard. Nothing pushes an amp better than the Keeley Compressor Plus. The Keeley Compressor Plus is the result of us specializing in compressors for over 15 years. Chief Engineer and founder Robert Keeley said, “Compression was the first effect I found that was hard to make sound good off the shelf, so I set out to create the best sounding compression effect possible.” Keeley have it down to a science but still treat it like art. Since it is at the core of what we do, we can offer it for an incredible price now. The Keeley Compressor Plus is completely made in the United States. We’ve worked with and listened to the pros who have had the original compressor on their boards for 10 to 15 years and found out what it would take to keep it on their boards for another 10, 20, or 30 years…. Add the Compressor Plus to your rig, you and your guitar will be singing for days.

Introduction of Features Compression LED Display – 7 Segment LED display for fast and accurate metering of compression and gain reduction. Gain Reduction Levels of -1dB to -20dB are indicated. Threshold LED Indicator – Bi-Color LED to indicate when compression is initiated and released. Exact RMS Analysis (ERA) – Senses the true RMS value of the input program material such as your guitar, bass or drum machine. Hard/Soft Knee Compression – Hard Compression for limiting or adding sustain, soft knee or Komfort Kompression for gentle compression, keeping performances lively and natural sounding without potential phase issues in parallel, or blending style compression. Auto Mode – Program dependent Attack and Release times. Set to Auto ON for worry-free performance and automatic Attack and Release times. True-Bypass – No tone or signal loss when OFF General Compressor Usage The Keeley Compressor Pro is designed to be used at home or in the studio for creating full sounding recordings of any instrument. In live situations, the Compressor Pro can be used to achieve full sounding, polished performances as well as protect amplifiers and speakers from overload. The Comp Pro is designed to work with any instrument from voice and guitar to keyboard, bass, or drums. Use it when creating a podcast or YouTube videos to maintain professional performance levels. Use it around the home to create tons of sustain while at low volumes or low gain settings! Device Controls THRESHOLD, RATIO, ATTACK, RELEASE, GAIN, KNEE, & AUTO THRESHOLD Control and LED – This is probably the most important control on the Comp Pro. It is adjusted to determine when the compressor is working or when sound is being passed through unaffected. The Threshold control is turned down or CCW until the THRESHOLD LED turns Red as you play your instrument. When the THRESHOLD LED turns Red the Comp Pro is actively compressing your signal. If the LED is Green, the Comp Pro is not compressing and sound is passed through unchanged. Range of Adjustment is from -50dBu to +10dBu. 2.45mVRMS to 2.45VRMS – Pro Audio (studio) Levels are +4dBu Consumer Audio Levels are -10dBu. Passive guitar or bass pickups are typically about -25dBu to 2.5dBu. RATIO Control – “the Compression Knob”, Ratio is the amount of compression you set the Comp Pro for. You can set it from No Compression (1:1) when all of the way off or CCW. You can set it as high as Infinite Compression (∞:1) which means that the output level will never increase in output level no matter how loud the input. This type of setting can be used for hard-limiting to protect recording or speakers or in some cases for guitar effects like chicken-pickin’. ATTACK Control – Attack Times between 0.15ms and 150ms. Controls the time it takes for the Comp Pro to start compressing. RELEASE Control – Release Times between 0.1s to 3s. Controls the time before the Comp Pro releases or stops compression . GAIN Control – This is the output level of the compressor. It does not affect the compression controls like THRESHOLD, RATIO, ATTACK or RELEASE. It is for make-up gain if you set for heavy compression gain reduction. +20dB of boost is possible. KNEE Switch – Hard Knee/Soft Knee. Hard Knee Compression follows a hard fast rule: If THRESHOLD is met, then Compress at this RATIO. Soft Knee is Komfort Kompression. It’s a way to keep compressed guitar or instrument parts sounding lively and dynamic, without the “blanket” of compression found in many types of compressors. AUTO Switch – OFF/ON – Set to ON in most cases for automatic setting of Attack and Release Times. This will sound natural and work in a very large number of cases. The Comp Pro looks at the input signals like guitar, bass, vocals or drums and determines the correct attack and release times depending on what you’re playing and what signal levels are being detected.

Limiting Amplifier (For Guitar and other instruments) Keeley Compressor GC-2 Limiting Amplifier Compressor and Limiting Amplifier Check out the Pete Thorn Demo on YouTube! Precision Rack Mount Quality Compression At Your Feet The Keeley Compressor GC-2 Limiting Amplifier. The same great professional compression/limiting technology available in our Bassist Limiting Amplifier, for musicians and compressor fans of all kinds! Precision Compression The Keeley Compressor GC-2 Limiting Amplifier provides true high-fidelity compression and limiting. The Keeley Compressor GC-2 Limiting Amplifier is built around the exotic and extremely high-fidelity THAT Corp. 4320.  Think of it as very musical studio-grade compressor in stomp box format!  It uses high performance Voltage Controlled Amplifiers, on board true-RMS detector, and ultra-high performance op-amps to bring you the very best quality. This type of compressor gives you precise control and very musical results. This along with a full frequency range means that the GC-2 Limiting Amplifier compressor is well suited for guitar, keyboards, drum machines and, really, anything you can throw at it. The Keeley GC-2 Limiting Amplifier is both musical and transparent.  Where our older compressors were based on the CA3080 or the LM13700 and are perfect for that “Compressor Effect” and are still in use by tens of thousands of players, the new Keeley GC-2 is a different style compressor, aimed at being the ultimate in low noise and transparency.  Not only can it handle astonishingly large signals, but it has an incredible bandwidth of over 20 KHz.  No detail in your guitar’s tone will be lost.  The Keeley GC-2 will be a sound investment in your tone–you now have genuine rack-mount quality at your feet. Compression and Threshold When musicians use the new Keeley Compressor GC-2, they will be greeted with a sound that is more easily amplified and heard.  Using the effect as a limiting amplifier saves your speakers from clipping and distortion.  Set the Threshold to look for peaks in your signal and limit distortion from your amplifier or damage to your speakers.  Simply watch the Threshold Indicator light to see what type of playing you want to limit; it’s that easy!  Next, set the Compression Ratio Control to determine how much squash you want when the signal is above Threshold.  Set Compression all of the way down (1:1) for no compression and use the Gain control as a boost.  Set Compression all of the way up for an above-Threshold, hard-knee limiter. Attack and Release There is a certain figure that just sounds good as far as compression goes, and that’s 125 dB/second.  With feed-forward compressors that use this type of true-RMS detector you use a single time-constant parameter.  The timing capacitor gives you attack and release times that are adaptive to your playing level or the signal input to the compressor.  Bottom line: Attack and Release times vary on program content.  Attack times are, generally speaking, about 100 times faster than release times. Attack Time: typically 15ms for 10dB, 5ms for 20dB, 3ms for 30dB Release Time: typically 8ms for 1dB, 40ms for 5dB, 80ms for 10dB, 160ms for 20dB, 240ms for 30dB Specs: Voltage Input: 9V Current Draw: 50mA Input Impedance 1 Meg ohm Output Impedance: 100 ohm Output Voltage Gain: +30dB Boost Bandwidth > 20kHz Total Harmonic Distortion: 0.1% Noise: -95dBV Threshold Indicator: Dual LED

Orange Kongpressor Kompressor ...

2.190,-

Orange Kongpressor Kompressor-pedal, analog Class A Optisk med studiokvalitet   The Kongpressor is an analogue Class A compression pedal which adds an organic three dimensional quality to any rig. The pedal takes its inspiration from some of the world’s most iconic vintage optical studio units, employing a re-issue of the famous vactrol VTL5C3 optocoupler that was responsible for the sound heard on countless hit records. At lower compression levels the Kongpressor’s effect is transparent but somehow fattening. It adds mojo and a glossy sheen to your core tone that you’ll truly miss when it’s bypassed. Even at extreme settings, the tone always remains musical with great feel under the fingers.   With controls for attack and release time, the Kongpressor can be tweaked to fine tune the transients and the bloom. We worked hard to make these parameters as forgiving as possible whilst still allowing players full control over the compression response. The pedal’s internal charge pump doubles the headroom of the unit, so however the dials are set, the compression tracks seamlessly and remains clean across its range. There’s also an active treble control for adding in extra chime and jangle, making the compression even more transparent. So whether you are new to compression or a seasoned studio user, it’s impossible to get a bad sound from this comp.   Of course it’s outstanding for crystal clean country pickin’, but the Kongpressor also maintains the bottom end that seems to gets lost in many compression pedals. This means it behaves impeccably with overdrive pedals or the lead channel of your amplifier, adding fullness and sustain.   Optical Class A Compression The Kongpressor’s analogue, Class A design makes for very natural sounding compression. The vintage-inspired optical circuit adds extra depth your guitar or bass tone, making it seem ‘larger than life’. The attack and release times can be adjusted to taste allowing for fine tuning of the bloom and perceived plectrum gauge. Faster attack times will react to the front of the note faster, while slower attack times will add punch to the sound as the compression reacts slower on the transient. Fast release times will give more perceived clean volume along with a more transparent compression.  Slower release times will yield more compression and a slower, mellower bloom. With any attack or release setting, the Kongpressor has a satisfying, springy playing response under the fingers.   12dB Clean Boost With up to 12dB of clean gain available on the Volume control, the Kongpressor works brilliantly as a transparent clean boost pedal, but with a little extra ‘something’. With the compression turned up, your lead lines will cut through the band with plenty of fat, singing sustain.   Internal Charge Pump Like all Orange pedal’s, the Kongpressor features an internal charge pump which doubles the operating voltage of the pedal to 18V. This has the effect of drastically increasing the headroom for super clean compression. The Kongpressor can be powered by 9V battery or standard DC adapter, or for even more output can also run on 12V DC.   Transparent Buffered Bypass The Kongpressor’s bypass features an ultra-linear buffer which retains your guitar’s upper harmonic content when the pedal is switched off. Maintain tonal integrity even with long cable runs and large pedalboards.

Advanced Stereo Compressor Pedal - with PSU The Atlas Compressor offers a comprehensive collection of compression circuits that perfectly capture the tone and feel of the industry’s most sought-after compressors. Straight out of the box, Atlas delivers six different styles of compression, based on classic stompbox compressors as well as high-end rack units like the snappy 1176 compressor and the smooth and gentle LA2A optical compressor. Atlas also features advanced dual-band compression, which provides an independent set of controls for both the high and low frequencies. Each compression engine has onboard controls for Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Output, Tone, and Blend, allowing for fine-tuned control over the compact One Series hardware. The Atlas is packed with so many different types of compression that it could serve as a tour guide through the history of compressor equipment.  First stop: classic stompbox squashers such as the legendary the Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer and the ever-present Dyna Comp.  Next stop: universal and ubiquitous studio rack gear like the smooth and gentle LA2A optical compressor and the ultra-responsive 1176 FET compressor.  Finally, we’re taking you to all-out nerd territory with Peak, RMS, VCA, and Dual compression, and an onboard Expander circuit… the Atlas has it all and does it well. OPTICAL RACK The Optical Rack compressor engine is based on the legendary LA2A studio opto compressors from the early 60s. Optical compression controls its output level with light. Increasing the incoming audio level in the original units caused an electro luminescent panel to shine brighter. A photo resistor monitors that light panel and decreased the audio output level, as the panel got brighter. The result is a very smooth and gentle attack that imparts a full-bodied and natural sound on guitar, bass, or vocal. This compressor sounds great with clean strummed or arpeggiated guitar lines as well as acoustic guitars. Elite engineering cannot be rushed... "Offering up a deep library of compression options in a pedal is a landmark technical achievement.  We started working on compression in 2007.  At the time we developed some straightforward, high-end studio stuff that made it into the original Multiwave a year later.  The research project to branch out and cover more simple classic pedal sounds and create a dedicated compression pedal was delayed, because the intricacies of how transistors behave in compression circuits was especially elusive.  After ten years of additional research, new thinking, and more experience, we are finally ready to launch a landmark pedal: The Atlas Compressor.  From classic rack studio units, to classic pedals of many flavors, and even to the experience of high-end computer plug-ins, Atlas covers all the bases with attention to detail that is the hallmark of our development team.  Bob Chidlaw, Jesse Remignanti, and Christopher Venter worked long and hard on this one and I'm excited to finally share it with the rest of the world."
