Midi Solutions Pedal ...

1.899,-

MIDI Solutions Pedal Controller The Pedal Controller accepts an expression pedal (such as the Yamaha FC7 or Roland EV-5 or any potentiometer connected to a 1/4" stereo phone plug) as an input and generates continuous MIDI data based on its position. The Pedal Controller may be inserted inline at any point in the MIDI data stream, allowing continuous MIDI data to be sent to any device in a MIDI setup. The Pedal Controller's factory default settings are for it to send CC#7 (volume) on MIDI channel 1, so if this is the message that needs to be sent then no programming is necessary - just insert the Pedal Controller in a MIDI setup and it's ready to use. The Pedal Controller can also be programmed to send other types of MIDI messages, for more info read on... The Pedal Controller can be programmed to send: Aftertouch Pitch Bend Control Change System Exclusive The Pedal Controller includes a MIDI Echo parameter that is selectable on/off. The Pedal Controller accurately tracks the position of the pedal or potentiometer connected to it. Small fluctuations are eliminated when the pedal is in a stationary position and no extraneous messages are sent out. When the pedal is moved slightly, the Pedal Controller will send an update even if its position has only changed by a single value. Many control wheels or knobs only update themselves every two or every four values, resulting in coarser control, and sometimes zipper noise. Another unique feature of the Pedal Controller is its ability to add a variable amount of curvature to the response of the pedal. This allows you to correct for pedals with nonlinear responses, or to add greater response at one end of the pedal compared to the other. The Pedal Controller is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages (read the Programming FAQs for more details). This is easily done with the MIDI Solutions Programming Tools software. Once programmed, its settings are retained even after power is removed. The Pedal Controller can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed. The Pedal Controller's factory default settings are for it to send CC #7 (volume) on MIDI channel 1, with the Echo parameter set to ON. The Pedal Controller is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products (for more information read the Power FAQs). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it. Weight: 124 g (4.4 oz.) Midi Solutions Power Adapter ...

Power Adapter The Power Adapter provides power to MIDI Solutions products in instances when it is not available or where a large number of MIDI Solutions products are being chained in series (see FAQs - LED). It's possible to power up to 20 MIDI Solutions products from the Power Adapter's single MIDI Thru output. The Power Adapter has an optically isolated MIDI In, a MIDI Thru, and a power connection for a 9V wall adapter (a 9VAC wall adapter is included with North American orders, international customers can use any 9V wall adapter with standard 2.1 mm barrel connector, AC or DC, any polarity, minimum 50 mA rating). The Power Adapter can also be used in a transmitter/receiver configuration to send MIDI over long distances. We have tested the operation over 4000 ft. of average 2-conductor audio cable, however individual results will vary depending on factors like the type of cable used, electromagnetic noise present, etc. For a good explanation of what to consider when sending MIDI over long distances, see Richmond Sound Design's FAQ on MIDI Cable Length. It may be possible to use only one Power Adapter at the transmitting end, however in this case results are dependent not only on the cable length, but also on the type of MIDI input that the signal is being sent to. Since MIDI inputs from various manufacturers are designed differently, for best results it is recommended that two Power Adapters be used - one at the transmitting end and another at the receiving end.
Midi Solutions Programmable ...

Programmable Input Selector The Programmable Input Selector allows MIDI messages to be routed from either of its two MIDI inputs (InA or InB) to its MIDI output. All MIDI messages, or all MIDI messages except Note messages, can be routed from either of the MIDI inputs. Inputs are switched by a footswitch or contact closure connected to the 1/4" phone jack Fsw input, or by receipt of MIDI Program Change messages appearing at InA. The LED can be programmed to flash in different ways to indicate the state the device is in. The factory default settings for the Programmable Input Selector are for it to toggle between sending all MIDI messages from InA and all MIDI messages from InB. The Programmable Input Selector is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages (read the Programming FAQs for more details). For a complete description of the programming options, see the Programmable Input Selector Operating Instructions (.pdf file). Once programmed, settings are retained even after power is removed. The Programmable Input Selector can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed. The Programmable Input Selector is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products (for more information read the Power FAQs).
