Astral Destiny An Octal Octave Reverberation Odyssey We’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your instrument of choice to a vast new world of octave reverberation. Unrelenting, radicalized reverb for the modern world; an array of haunting, unearthly delights and ethereal sonic sorcery designed to take you on a deep journey through both time and space. This is your new destiny should you choose to accept it (which we assume you have if you’ve gotten this far…). Anyhow, welcome to your new Astral Destiny. The Astral Destiny is a compact and powerful modulated octave reverb pedal that features 8 reverb modes with 8 editable presets, assignable expression control, tails for natural reverb decay when the effect is bypassed and a super cool stretch feature that doubles the length of the reverb while adding an adjustable pitch bending effect. Main Features: • Powerful modulated octave reverb pedal • 2 modes of operation     Live Mode – all controls operate manually     Preset Mode – recalls stored settings for each control • 8 reverb modes with 8 user editable presets:     Abyss – Huge reverb with no octave effect     Shimmer - Adds an upper octave to the reverb tail     Sub - Adds a lower octave to the reverb tail     Sub Shimmer - Adds an upper and lower octave to the reverb tail     Astral - Adds an upper and lower octave combined with a regenerating tail     Ascend - Upward pitch bending; best used on sustained notes and chords     Descend - Downward pitch bending; best used on sustained notes and chords     Cosmos - Adds a regenerating fifth to the reverb tail; best used on sustained notes and chords • Stretch feature - doubles the reverb length while adding an adjustable pitch bending effect • Assignable expression control • Silent soft-touch switching with True Bypass • Buffered bypass switching with Tails/No Tails operation • Voltage or expression pedal control jack for any parameter • All analog dry signal path and a totally digital effect signal path • Powered by regular 9 V DC PSU     (centre -, 2,1 mm, ~100 mA current draw) Astral Destiny features a completely analog dry signal path, totally digital delay path, buffered bypass with and two different bypass states - Tails or Full Bypass. Tails Mode, which the is the pedal’s stock setting, allows the reverb to naturally decay after the effect is bypassed, slowly letting you drift back from your ethereal dream state into the waking world. Full Bypass, on the other hand, will cut the reverb effect completely when the effect is bypassed and instantly throw you back into cold clutches of reality. Let your fate spin out of control by pressing the Stretch footswitch doubles the length of the reverb effect while adding a temporary change in pitch. While a short tap will immediately change the pitch, holding the Stretch footswitch depressed gives you a temporary pitch bending effect with the speed of the of the pitch bending effect created by holding the Stretch footswitch easily adjusted by turning the Length knob. While the Astral Destiny offers two different modes of operation, it ships in Live Mode, where each control will operate manually, laying out your fate for you, clearly visible. Preset Mode in contrast lets you chose from one of the 8 unearthly, ethereal factory preset reverb fates, 1 for each reverb mode, the Astral Destiny comes with. Each of these can be edited or completely overwritten just like when the ancient Fates plucked or cut the strings of ones destiny. Save settings for Length, Depth, Rate, Tone, Mix as well as EXP assignment and Stretch length and recall them instantly. Any of the Astral Destiny’s 8 reverb modes can be used as the basis for each of the 8 presets. But beware! - There is no undo for preset saving, so make sure you are not overwriting your favorite sound, especially when you are saving presets from Live Mode! – Once the string of your fate is cut, there is no turning back on your destiny. Freely express any aspect of your Astral Destiny - Shipping with the EXP jack mapped to the Depth control, the expression control can also be swiftly assigned to Length, Rate, Tone, or Mix, plus different EXP assignments can be saved in each preset and you can also use Control Voltage with the EXP Jack. Each Astral Destiny is built one at a time by a team of Los Angeles-based robots and a handful of real life humans in the occupied Erie territory presently known as Akron, Ohio.

Avalanche Run V2 Ambient Alchemy The Avalanche Run was developed with one goal in mind: to take the floating ambient tones of our Dispatch Master to the next level while still keeping it user friendly and refined. Taking you into the aural exploratorium without having to break open the user manual every time you want to open up your inner eye and get free is no easy task. We are using a high powered proprietary DSP platform to recreate all the characteristics of all our old favorite delay and reverb machines while still retaining a simple, yet flexible workspace.   • Stereo reverb and delay • V2 features an updated algorithm for an even better stereo image • 3 delay modes and tap tempo - Normal, Reverse and Swell • Expression input - For hands-free control over pedal parameters • True bypass - Silent soft-touch switching • Analog dry-through • Top-mounted jacks - for effortless pedalboard implementation The Avalanche Run is a dreamy sonic discovery device with up to 2 seconds of delay time and a lush reverb. It features complete control over delay time, repeats, mix and voice (with the tone control), as well as control over the reverb length and mix. It can run in one of 3 different modes: Normal, Reverse and Swell. In Normal mode, the Avalanche Run functions as a straightforward delay and reverb. In Reverse mode, the delay line is in reverse and the reverb remains in normal mode. In Swell mode, the Avalanche Run reacts to your picking dynamics and adds a volume swell to the entire signal path much like manually raising and lowering the volume of your guitar. The Avalanche Run features an expression jack that can be assigned to one of six different controls using the EXP selector switch. It also features Tap Tempo with six different ratios accessed via the Ratio selector switch. The Avalanche Run can also be run in True Bypass mode or Buffered Bypass mode for trails and features 5 different tail lengths including Infinite for lo-fi and continuously degrading pseudo-looping. The Tap switch also has a few other cool secondary functions. While in Normal and Swell mode, you can send the Avalanche Run into self-oscillation by holding down the Tap footswitch. In Reverse, mode holding down the Tap switch will flip the delay back into Normal mode and return to Reverse mode once released!   Each and every Avalanche Run V2 is completely assembled, wired and tested by total human beans in the tiny tundra town of Akron, Ohio.

Your New Bit Crush The Bit Commander V2 is a monophonic analog guitar synthesizer with four octaves of vintage square wave synth tones. Its no-nonsense interface makes it easy to add or subtract octaves to create a wide variety of sounds without having to dial in envelopes or oscillators. Ripping sub-octave thump, pulsing octave down, a lightly squared base tone and a swelling transformer based octave up all join together to make a single guitar sound like an army of olde tyme synths.   Ê Four voice analog octave synthesizer   Ê Filter control - goes from dark and thunderous to bright and screaming   Ê Dark, dreamy, murky delay sounds reminiscent of vintage oil and tape units   Ê True bypass - Silent soft-touch switching   Ê Analog dry-through   Ê Top-mounted jacks - for effortless pedalboard implementation When you kick in the Bit Commander V2 the crowd will instantly know you mean businnes. YouÕre not here to make friends, youÕre here to command and conquer the sonic landscape and drive home the show with one of the most unique sounds ever put in a pedal! Like all analog octave effects, there are some basic rules to follow that will get you the most enjoyment from your Bit Commander V2. Use the neck pickup and play single notes. The best tracking occurs from the 7th fret up on all the strings. Below the 7th will still track but there will be occasional glitches and stutters. The lower the note, the harder it is for the Bit Commander V2 to register. The use of Bass and lower registers on keyboards will yield unexpected, sometimes pleasing, sometimes disgusting results. These are not mistakes or flaws, it is the nature of analog octaves. The Bit Commander V2 has a fully analog dry signal path and new electronic relay based true-bypass switching. It is powered by a standard 9-volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel and has a current draw of 25ma. Each Bit Commander V2 is built by hand in the republic of Akron, Ohio, USA.Ê

Data Corrupter The Devil’s In The Data A wild, yet repeatable three-voice Modulated Monophonic Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) Harmonizer, the Data Corrupter takes your input signal and brutally amplifies it into a crushing square wave fuzz tone. That signal is then multiplied, divided and modulated to create a harmonically complex, expressive and touch-responsive analog synth tone up to three octaves below (or above) the original signal, plus additional harmonies. • Wild Three-Voice Guitar Synthesizer w. Crushing Square Wave Fuzz • Frequency Modulator produces smooth portamento pitch-bends (Glide mode) or retro sci-fi laser effects (Vibrato mode) • Master Oscillator and Subharmonic dials allow for harmonies up to three octaves above and below your original signal • True Bypass • Silent relay-based switching • All-analog signal path • Top-mounted jacks - for effortless pedalboard implementation The central nervous system at the heart of the Data Corrupter’s hive mind is the Master Oscillator. The Master Oscillator’s “Root” (the octave of which is selectable via a three-position rotary switch) adjusts the frequency range and tracking response of the input signal, which is then synthesized and harmonized by one of eight Master Oscillator programs, adjustable by an eight-way rotary switch. From there, the Frequency Modulator applies pitch-bend modulation to the Master Oscillator. In Glide mode, you’ll hear a smooth portamento as each note slides into the next. In Vibrato mode the pitch modulates up and down for a retro sci-fi laser effect.   The Subharmonic assimilates the input signal into one of eight lower octave programs between one and three octaves below the original. For a more stable lower octave, set the Subharmonic’s Root switch to the Unison position, which divides the Square Wave input signal, and removes the Frequency Modulator from the Subharmonic signal path.   To unleash the cracked machine lurking within the Data Corrupter mainframe, set the Subharmonic Root switch to Oscillator and try not to look away as the sonic malware you just installed mangles your input signal into the sum and difference of both the Master Oscillator and Subharmonic with the Frequency Modulator applied to the upper and lower octaves. Each and every Data Corrupter is built one-at-a-time by a team of ensigns aboard the Starship Enterprise locked in orbit around the Borg Cube of Akron, Ohio, USA. Make it so. Engage.

EarthQuaker Devices Ghost ...

Ghost Echo™ Vintage Voiced Reverb You hear that EVP, bud? It’s the all new, extra spook-tacular, Ghost Echo calling out from beyond the void! The Ghost Echo is our spooky take on the haunted* amp-top spring reverberation units of yesteryear. This creepy analog/digital spring reverb emulation machine boasts a terrifying 30ms – 150ms of pre-delay, controllable via the Attack knob, for everything from a quick rockabilly slapback to viscous pools of ectoplasmic reverberations. When playing staccato, you’ll hear the tortured trails of the reverb, resulting in more of a slapback or echo sound. Legato playing will reveal a massive ambient “depth” that fattens up the sound – and look out, it’s right behind you! Phew, that was close. The Dwell control sets the length and thickness of the decay, which is to say that it controls how long the disembodied spirits of notes no longer with us float through the ether. At the maximum setting it will descend into an infinite loop of self-oscillation. The Depth sets the intensity of the reverb, which you probably know as the wet/dry mix, but we like to think of it more as how scary the overall effect is. *Not actually haunted. Or are they? Switching This device is true bypass and uses electronic relay-based switching. Audio will not pass without power. Power This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!
EarthQuaker Devices Grand ...

Grand Orbiter V3 The Grand Orbiter V3 is a 4 stage OTA-based phaser with a diverse feature set that can go from stationary and resonant to slow and mellow and on through fast and swirly. It has a three-way toggle switch to select between the ranges of modulation: Rate 1 is slow sweep mode, Rate 2 kills the LFO and allows you to use the Grand Orbiter as a fixed resonant filter and Rate 3 is fast sweep mode. So no matter what starlit galaxies you wanna go to, Grand Orbiter is definitely the right vessel for your intergalactic travels! • Four-stage OTA-based Phaser and Vibrato - Switchable via phase/vibrato mini-toggle • Rate toggle selects between three LFO speeds - Slow, Fixed and Fast • New Flexi-switch - allows for traditional latching or momentary operation   • True bypass - Silent soft-touch switching • All-analog signal path • Top-mounted jacks - for effortless pedalboard implementation The master Rate control fine tunes the speed of the LFO in each of these modes and the flashing red LED acts as a visual indicator, even when the effect is in bypass mode. The Depth control blends the shifted signal in with the dry signal and controls the intensity of the effect. The Sweep control governs the peak frequency of the phased signal’s tone, turned full clockwise the sweep is lively and intense, whereas turning counter clockwise yields a darker, more laid back peak. The Resonance provides a wide range of control over regeneration and at higher settings adds a more pronounced and resonant tone. You can also use the Grand Orbiter as a true pitch vibrato with the “Phase/Vibrato” switch. When in “Vibrato” mode, the dry signal is removed and the Depth controls acts as a volume control. This pedal is 100% analog, true bypass and built by entirely by hand in beachy Akron, Ohio.
