We took a classic distortion circuit and hot-rodded it to the next level for over-the-top soaring leads and rich, saturated rhythms. With only three knobs, dialing in Badass tone is a cinch. The CRUNCH button allows you to choose between two different modes of diode and LED clipping, boosting the harmonic content of the distortion. The '78 Distortion's wide open amp-like sound sounds great whether it's in front of a clean amp, a slightly dirty amp, or a full on overdriven amp. MC-404 CAE Wah - Wah ble utviklet av Bob Bradshaw av Custum Audio Electronics og Dunlop Crybaby design team. De hadde som mål å skape en allsidig wah - wah med komponenter av ypperste kvalitet. Pedalen er utstyrt med dobble faselinduktorer for å skape to distinkte sound og har i tillegg innebugd en MXR MC-401 Boost/Line driver. Velg fasel og boost av/på med de sidemonterte kickswitchene. MC-404 har ”true bypass”, et CTS potensiometer med ekstra lang levetid samt interne potensiometere for å finjustere Q-verdi og gain.

MXR MC406 CAE Buffer

Når du har en hel kjede med effektpedaler som har forskjellige impedanser, er det umulig å unngå signalforstyrelser. MC-406 Buffer, retter disse signalproblemene. Den ”gainer” signalet opp til +6dB, den har HI/LO-cut bryter, og en ekstrautgang for f.eks stemmemaskin. When you run your signal from your instrument to your amp though long cables and/or through a large array of effects with varying impedance, there's bound to be some signal degradation. Placing the CAE Buffer in your signal chain addresses this issue. It's a low-noise buffer in a small, rugged housing; it can add up to +6dB of gain with the front-facing gain slider; it makes up for signal loss that can occur when combining effects with different impedance levels; it fine-tunes signal recovery with Hi and Lo cut switches; it has an extra output for a tuner, separate effects chain or amp, and can be set to receive either a buffered or unbuffered signal; it also features a convenient 9VDC power output jack which provides power for another pedal. The CAE Buffer is truly a mighty utility with a small footprint-an ideal addition to any effects rig or pedalboard!
